Our accommodations are surrounded by nature, therefore they are quiet, tranquil and relaxing. As these lands are mainly vineyards, one might hear the viticulturist tending to his vineyard and sometimes you may hear the singing of the winemaker while checking his wine. :-) Our accommodations, all being press houses, present the formal viticultural and winemaking functions, as well as displaying a variety of historical equipment. Based on a slow life, we offer a calm, peaceful environment for those longing for a relaxed pace of life. Neighbours are at a respectable distance and wild animals often visit the vineyards and gardens. The 200 year old buildings represent the rural architecture; the renovations and furnishing commemorate this style without ignoring modern comfort and full equipment. Our press houses are suitable for short and long term vacations. Our houses are rentable separately, but as a complete house only. They consist of two bedrooms (for 2 and 3 - altogether 5 people) each, therefore ideal for families with children or for one-two couples without children. The press houses on their own are historically and archeologically interesting, however, the area offers plenty of adventures with many opportunities for entertainment. Lake Balaton is close (about 10 km) where one can enjoy water sports and lovely beaches. Hiking in the surrounding mountains (Bakony) can be started from the doorstep. The cities of Veszprém, Balatonfüred, Tihany and Kesztely offer numerous cultural, culinary and sporting events, that can further enhance your stay here.

A big house on a small piece of land, in an idyllic area. We re- imagined the vaulted cellar and converted it into a living space (a double with en-suite). The attic is modern, but the ceiling is low; however with a fully comfortable space (three-bed room with en-suite). There is a living room, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor.
This press house is in a classic style, built probably around 1830. It became a protected and listed house in 1967. The main characteristics are the porch with columns and the tympanum atop, and the orientation of the building, which is perpendicular to the slope. These features are rarities. The current state was achieved in 2022. Attention was paid to keep the historic values, folkloric traditions and at the same time upgrade it according to high and modern standards.
The building is 350m from the village and is approachable via a dirt road. Please, approach with care.

"My Grandpa's" 200-year-old press house. With a huge child- and fitness-friendly garden, and also ideal for the fans of stars.
The presshouses are located in the Pécsely valley. From its northern edge (e.g. from the Zádor castle), a wonderful view opens up to the other side of Lake Balaton. The area spans a 200-meter difference in level and is an extremely diverse landscape. The typically rolling hillside, vineyards and the press houses create a unique atmosphere of the Balaton-Uplands. Due to its micro- climate and location, the colours, lights, and skyscapes constantly change; every day of every season presents a different wonder. This is living nature, so consider its healing effects. For risks (wild animals, intermittent public service, muddy environment, real darkness, dormouse on the roof, etc.) and side effects (crickets, spiders, rodents, etc.), consult your pharmacist, doctor, us, or someone else! :-)
The buildings can be approached via a gravel/dirt road. In exchange for this "sacrifice", we enter the home of wild animals. We have roe, deer, wild rabbits, wild boars, foxes and countless bird species as our neighbours. Light pollution is low, so the billions of stars (of which we use four to qualify the accommodation) and a lot of shooting stars provide an unforgettable experience.
The northern side of Lake Balaton, and even further north, offers many different experiences. In case of full-day trips, you can visit the south coast by crossing the lake via the Tihany ferry. In the summer season (and increasingly in the pre- and post-season as well), a series of events and festivals await the explorers. We highlight a few options, but a more detailed list is available at the accommodation.
